There’s a version of you that you can still remember — before the anxiety made everything feel like a threat, before the weight of that loss or that wound settled in, before the tension at home started following you everywhere. You haven’t forgotten who you are. You’ve just gotten buried under a lot of hard things, and you’re not sure how to find your way back.
That’s where I come in.
I’m Sarah Glover, M.Ed., LPC, and I see clients at New Vision’s Edmond location and via telehealth. I work with people who are ready to do more than just cope. Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety that won’t let you rest, depression that’s taken the color out of things, trauma that keeps showing up in places you didn’t expect, or conflict in your family that nobody knows how to resolve — you don’t have to keep managing it alone.
That includes the children in your life too. Kids don’t always have the words for what they’re carrying — but they feel it. It shows up in the meltdowns, the withdrawal, the anxiety that makes school feel impossible, the sadness that doesn’t quite make sense. As a parent watching that, it can feel helpless. I work with children to help them find language for what’s happening inside, process what they’ve been through, and build skills that actually travel with them into everyday life. Getting a child the right support early doesn’t just help them now — it changes what they carry into the years ahead.
Here’s what our work together actually looks like. We start by getting honest about what’s happening and why. Not surface level — the real stuff underneath. From there, we build a plan that’s specific to you, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reshape the thought patterns driving your anxiety or depression, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to strengthen your ability to regulate emotions and communicate in ways that actually connect. These aren’t theories. They’re tools. And they work when you use them.
For clients who want faith woven into the counseling process, I bring Christian principles in as a genuine part of the work — not an afterthought, but a foundation that strengthens everything we’re already building together. A biblical understanding of identity, grace, and purpose deepens the clinical work and gives it roots that hold. Scripture, prayer, and a faith-rooted perspective on who you are don’t sit alongside the healing process — they accelerate it. You tell me how central you want faith to be, and we build from there.
I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma. I see clients in person at our Edmond office and via telehealth — same quality of care, whatever format works best for your life.
Taking the next step doesn’t require having it all figured out. It just requires one decision to reach out.
